CoreVision’s field examination group consists of seasoned, experienced professionals that have been in the banking, accounting or business world before joining us. Our examiners are either CPA’s, prior bank examiners or have held positions in finance of Controller or above. CoreVision clients use our field examination group for complex or high risk transactions that require the knowledge base that only comes from years of experience. As our main focus is to manage and reduce loan risk, we go beyond the requirements of the basic field exam. CoreVision examiners understand business and can quickly assess the positives and negatives of the entity they are reviewing. Due to the experience level of our examiners the interviews we conduct with the management of the borrower or target entity is much more in depth and therefore much more revealing than a standard exam. Our examinations have consisted of transactions/loans dealing with entities in bankruptcy (Chapter 11 & 7), restructuring, mergers & acquisitions, securitizations, special purpose vehicles (SPV’s), and workout. Our clients consist of banks, private equity firms, hedge funds and factors.
